Pico red dots gris square meter
Mutina Pico is a tile collection that flawlessly balances simplicity with sophistication. Created by the acclaimed Belgian architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen, this collection showcases a variety of ceramic tiles distinguished by their minimalist aesthetic and subtle color variations. During the development of Pico, our focus was on crafting a texture that blends regularity with irregularity, resulting in two unique surfaces: Down, featuring sunken dots, and Up, with elevated dots.
To introduce a dynamic element, we incorporated colors like red and blue, applied either as tiny dots within the hollows or as a base layer. In the latest edition of Pico, the classic colors Blanc and Gris are joined by Argile, produced using the same materials and technology as the existing variants. Additionally, Pico Satin has been introduced, achieved through CONTINUA technology and a satin atomized glaze, providing a surface of absolute whiteness that is soft and pleasant to the touch. This chromatic interplay and the special mixture employed give the product an incredible depth and tactile quality. Delicate shadows emerge, enhancing the relief and subtly shifting the tiles' hues to warmer or cooler tones depending on the chosen color.
Available in formats of 120x120 cm, 60x120 cm, and 60x60 cm, Pico is characterized by its natural and refined finish, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. This collection exemplifies Mutina's commitment to innovative design and timeless elegance, offering a versatile solution for a variety of architectural and interior design projects. We wanted to use the ceramic material in a very flexible way consequently the Pico collection is equally adapted for use in public spaces such as airports and restaurants, as for use in domestic spaces, indoors and outdoors.
