Discounts vary from 10% to even 40% off the list price, according to the range and quantity requested. Contact us for a customized quotation or for further discount.

Does your price include delivery and installation costs?

No, all prices indicated in the website refer to the only product, and all the service costs are excluded: delivery to your address, wooden crate packing and moving/installation costs will be calculated in a tailored quotation as per your information.

Yes! In many cases we are able to offer material samples free of charge, after your order confirmation. If you need material samples before your order confirmation, we charge 90 USD for the shipment; then, we will refund this cost as soon as the order is placed.

Finishes and materials: I need a different colour from that shown on the colour sheet.

All items ship from our Italian warehouse or from partner warehouses and factories in Italy.

Do you ship all over the world?

Yes, we ship both in USA, Italy and abroad. Worldwide delivery.

INCOTERMS indications, to clearly communicate the tasks, costs, and risks associated with the transportation and delivery of goods:

EXW - Ex Works: Customer Own shipping.
CIP (only Europe): Carriage and Insurance Paid to your address.
CIF (SeaFreight): Cost, Insurance and Freight paid to port of destination.
DAT (SeaFreight or AirFreight): Cost, Insurance and Freight paid to terminal of destination
DDP (SeaFreight or AirFreight): Delivered to your address, Insurance, Freight and Duty paid. Delivery is curbside.

What is the estimated delivery time?

All items have specific production times: some items are in-stock and ship immediately, while others are made to order with lead-times of 2-12 weeks or more. Lead times are estimates only.
Manufacturers may indicate longer than stated lead times after orders are placed, subject to demand and availability.
Here's the calculation that La Mercanti applies:

Production Time + Transit Time = Delivery Time

Transit time can vary in order of the freight method (air freight or sea freight).

Is the transport of the product safe and guaranteed to final destination?

Yes, the shipping costs include insurance and wooden crate packing. La Mercanti works only with qualified carriers and ensures the cargo till its final destination.

Do you offer White Glove delivery service?

We’re excited to offer White Glove delivery service in the USA. It includes the inside delivery, uncrate and trash removal.

Will you install my new coverings?

Yes, we offer coverings installation service too. Our network of highly qualified installation partners is extensively trained and has first-hand experience with installing many brands. They install all products according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications as well as instructions from La Mercanti.

The product arrived damaged… who covers the damage?

Our insurance covers damages during the transportation: it is critical that you inspect your order upon delivery. Although we take every care to ensure your product arrives to you in pristine condition, on rare occasions a product may get damaged in transit.
Please carefully check the packages before the carrier leaves. If everything is alright, please sign the delivery document simply writing "subject to control".

Otherwise please open the box immediately to check the condition of the items inside (without proceeding to assembly, if any) and write the type of damage/anomaly you found on the delivery document (e.g. dented package, broken panel or intact piece).

This is VERY important. If you do receive a damaged product, please contact us straight away by emailing us with details and photos of the item to info@lamercanti.us

Please note that any damage has to be reported within 7 days after delivery if you are a company or within 2 days if you are a private.

La Mercanti USA reserves the right to refuse or issue a refund/replacement item in the event that the item is found to have suffered damage after delivery or has been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions or if the problem is due to normal wear and tear.

What is our return policy, can I return an item?

All our items are manufactured upon order and are not returnable.
Please note that we only sell brand new items that have been purchased directly from Italian manufacturers, and have passed their quality control.

Wood and stone

Wood and Stone are natural materials. Each trunk has its own colour and structure. Differences in shade or gloss on our wood sample collection are no reason for claims. Since wood is a natural material, slight colour differences may be possible. Solidwood parts cannot always be manufactured in the same characteristic. If items are bought in different times, there may be colour and shade differences.

As all computer screens differ in colour, contrast and brightness, we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on your computer screen will entirely match the colour of the product you are ordering. In many cases we are able to offer material samples free of charge.
