Cocci del Riale majolica by Danilo Ramazzotti: this study started from the analysis of splitted stones, characterized by a “torn” and “cratered” surface to recreate this effect using majolica clay, glazed with different colors, emphasizing the splitted structure and keeping the edges as if they were cut to slice.
